How to Create a Balanced & Tasty AF Smoothie (Swipe to see more smoothie making ideas)

There are an endless amount of delicious combinations when it comes to creating a balanced smoothie, however some of the key components include vegetables, protein, fruit, and a healthy source of fat. That’s why I thought I’d share some of my favorite things to include in smoothies, so you can customize them to your preferences. Of course add a base of water, unsweetened almond milk or ice! ⁠⁠
Fruit can be higher in sugar but also contains fiber to help slow the absorption of it, so it’s important to include some vegetables as well to help balance out your smoothie. It’s also important to keep in mind that store-bought smoothies tend to be packed with sugary juices, artificial flavors and colors, and some even have ice cream and sherbet, making homemade smoothies a much better choice. ⁠⁠
Here’s what’s in the Balanced Berry:⁠⁠⁠
-½C spinach⁠⁠⁠
-1 scoop whey protein powder⁠⁠
-½C raspberries ⁠⁠
-½C blackberries⁠⁠
-1tbsp peanut butter⁠⁠
Here’s what’s in the Tropical Green:⁠⁠⁠
-¾C kale⁠⁠
-½C yogurt⁠⁠
-½C pineapple ⁠⁠
-½ large avocado ⁠⁠
Here’s what’s in the Chocolate Banana:⁠⁠⁠
-1/2 C cauliflower ⁠⁠
-1 scoop chocolate protein powder ⁠⁠
-½ banana⁠⁠⁠
-1 tbsp almond butter⁠⁠
Here’s what’s in the Mango Magic:⁠⁠⁠
-½C Zucchini⁠⁠
-1 scoop collagen protein powder ⁠⁠
-½C Mango⁠⁠
-1 tbsp coconut oil⁠⁠
What to do:⁠⁠⁠
1-Add all your ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.⁠⁠
2- Pour into a glass and enjoy! ⁠⁠
